Terms of Service

Last updated: 17 October 2026 · Effective date: 17 October 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”) and Presentable (“we”, “us”, or “our”), governing your access to and use of the Presentable web application, features, and integrations.

By accessing or using Presentable, you agree that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with all of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the service.

2. Description of the Service

Presentable is an AI-assisted presentation structuring platform designed for students, educators, and professionals. The service assists users in organizing presentation outlines, structuring pacing, drafting speaker notes, and synchronizing presentation decks with third-party tools including Google Slides.

3. User Accounts and Security

To access workspace features, you must register for an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities conducted through your account.

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security compromise regarding your account.

4. Google Slides and Third-Party Services

Presentable offers integration with Google Slides via Google APIs. By linking your Google account, you authorize Presentable to access and modify only the specific presentation files you select or create within the app, under the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file scope.

Your use of Google APIs is subject to Google’s Terms of Service and the Google API Services User Data Policy. You may revoke Presentable’s access to your Google account at any time via your workspace settings or your Google account security settings.

5. User Content and Intellectual Property

You own your content: You retain complete ownership of all materials, rough notes, research citations, outlines, slide contents, and speaker notes you create or upload to Presentable (“User Content”). We do not claim any proprietary rights over your presentation decks or ideas.

License to provide the service: You grant Presentable a limited, non-exclusive license to process, display, and format your User Content solely to the extent necessary to provide the service to you (such as rendering slide previews or generating outlines upon your request).

Presentable IP: The design, layout, code, trademarks, and user interfaces of Presentable remain the intellectual property of Presentable.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal, infringing, or fraudulent purpose.
  • Attempt to bypass, disable, or tamper with security features or authentication controls.
  • Submit malicious code, viruses, or disruptive scripts through notes or presentation uploads.
  • Use automated scripts or scrapers to extract data from the platform without explicit authorization.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the service.

7. AI-Assisted Output and Disclaimers

Presentable utilizes generative artificial intelligence to suggest outlines, pacing cues, and speaker notes. While we design algorithms to prioritize grounded facts from your notes, AI outputs may occasionally contain inaccuracies or omissions. You are solely responsible for reviewing, fact-checking, and verifying all slide contents, claims, and citations before delivering your presentation.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Presentable, its creators, or contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages (including loss of data, missed deadlines, academic penalties, or loss of profits) arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account or access to the service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or third parties. You may discontinue use of the service at any time by disconnecting your accounts and deleting your projects.
